At Riverwalk in Bakersfield, CA, the Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary pays tribute to fallen and living heroes with our annual flag display. 1,000 flags, each a symbol of bravery and sacrifice, will adorn the park, thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers and Breakfast Rotary members. This year, Mama Vega has gone above and beyond by volunteering to secure nourishment from various bakeries across our community. As a heartfelt “Thank You,” our volunteers will be treated to delectable goodies, courtesy of Mama Vega. Because heroes deserve a sweet salute too!

Wine Place and Show Fundraiser

On October 26, 2023, at Luigi’s, a night of elegance and excitement at the 8th annual Wine, Place, and Show event! This unforgettable evening will showcase fine wines, delectable cuisine, thrilling horse racing, and a live auction to support BBRC’s community projects and this year’s special recipient, “Fund a Need†– Casa Esperanza. This year, Mama Vega has graciously volunteered to weave her magic into the event’s ambiance by putting together enchanting decorations. Get ready for a visual feast that complements the spirit of generosity and community!
