Menopause…choosing preventuon


According to new studies women do not have to have all the symptoms of menopause that they currently are having. There are many studies showing that these symptoms can be prevented reversed or eliminated totally. Things that can assist are: exercise, proper sleep, nutrition and environmental changes.



Let’s first start with exercise. Women should take 10 to 15 minutes everyday the first thing in the morning to do deep breathing exercises you should do 6 to 8 breath per minute . The deep breathing exercises help the symptoms of hot flashes. You should take 10 minutes per day for stretching. Stretching helps blood to circulate properly . Women should also exercise 4 times per week with weight resistance that would be doing strength training.




Sleepless Nights


Next will discuss sleep. Lack of sleep causes weight gain. Women experiencing some of the symptoms of menopause have expressed difficulty in losing weight along with sleep deprivation. The body needs to rest in order to regenerate.

Nutrition is a major component to the prevention of many of the symptoms of menopause. My definition of nutrition is anything you do to nourish the cells such as: exercise,oxygen, ingesting food, moisturizers on the skin, washing your hands, drinking water, taking a shower, smoking, alcohol, etc.

Most of the time when people say nutrition the average person Thanks that it is only related ingesting food through the mouth. Nourishment is ingested into the body through all the senses including what you hear and see.

Keeping this in mind may help you understand what I’m about to tell you are the problems with menopause symptoms. Many people are under the believe that when you are experiencing the menopausal symptoms you need more estrogen. In fact, the opposite may bw true. Let me explain how in realury many wpmen may be experiencing a “Menopause TOXIC Overload”


Environmental Factors Affecting Health


There environmental factors that you are unaware of increasing estrogen and decreasing testosterone. The decrease in testosterone along with the environmental factors causing an increase in the natural levels of estrogen actually causes an imbalance in both these hormones (synonymous with the word enzymes). The imbalance is what the body is exhibiting so it is necessary to readjust your exercise, sleep, nutrition and environment.



Toxic Water


The environmental factors are the ones the majority of women are unaware of causing the problem. Some environmental factors are:


  • Herbicides (such as atrazine)  and pesticides are hormone disruptors,
  • Antibacterial soaps containing triclosan which has a chemical structure similar to estrogen,
  • Plastic contains toxic estrogenic chemicals.
  • Excess estrogen circulating throughout the body is a suspected carcinogenic toxin,
  • Excess estrogen has been linked to breast cancer.


Believe it or not one of the ways excess estrogen gets into your system is through your skin while taking your shower. One way to accomplish this is to install a water filter. Below are some examples of commercial shower filters.
